To Be Like Jesus, will be our second Sovereign Grace Kids album. The first was Awesome God, which got some great feedback. To Be Like Jesus contains twelve worship songs that teach the fruit of the Spirit in a memorable way. Through these songs kids will learn that Jesus is our perfect example of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. More than that, they’ll discover that we can’t be like Jesus unless we trust in the power of his blood to forgive us and the power of his Sprit to change us. To Be Like Jesus is geared towards kids ages 6+, and will be released near the end of June. As we have been listening to the rough tracks, we’re excited about the results and believe this album is going to encourage many kids and their families! As we finish up To Be Like Jesus, we’re in the mid-production stages of Sons and Daughters, which we plan to release at the WorshipGod09 conference, August 5-8. The theme of the project is the joy of being adopted as God’s children through the atoning work of Christ. The vocalists will be recording in the Sovereign Grace Studio next week.
