Right click on these songs to download two free extra tracks: Turn Your Eyes upon Jesus and Redeemed.

The Next 2009 conference took place in Baltimore, Maryland May 30-June 2. Over 2500 people gathered to worship Jesus Christ in song, to study his Word, and to rediscover who he is and what he has done. Bob Kauflin led the songs along with three different bands: the Na Band, Reilly, and Zelos. Some of the sessions also featured a 14 piece string section.

This album contains thirteen of those songs as they were played and sung at the conference, including “All I Have is Christ” (Jordan Kauflin), “I Need You” (Kristian Stanfill/Eddie Kirkland), and “By This We Know Love” (Judah Groveman). Whether you were able to attend Next 2009 or not, we trust hearing these songs will inspire a greater devotion to our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Albums: To Be Like Jesus

To Be Like Jesus contains twelve worship songs that teach the fruit of the Spirit in a creative and memorable way.Through these songs kids will learn that Jesus is our perfect example of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. More than that, they’ll discover that we can’t be like Jesus unless we trust in the power of his cross to forgive us and the power of his Spirit to change us.

Did you know that God says your life is supposed to be like a fruit tree?

He’s talking about something much more important than apples, oranges, or bananas. The fruit God wants in our lives is the kind the Holy Spirit produces in us when we know and follow Jesus. It’s the fruit that comes when we turn from our sins and trust that Christ died in our place so we could be forgiven and become like him.

These songs will help you remember what that fruit looks like and how growing in Jesus is the only way to see more of it in your life!

“The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.” (Galatians 5:22-23)

This CD is an enhanced CD which includes guitar charts and accompaniment tracks.

News: Coming soon from Sovereign Grace Music (Summer of ‘09)

Plans are underway for two new Sovereign Grace Music releases this summer.

To Be Like Jesus, will be our second Sovereign Grace Kids album. The first was Awesome God, which got some great feedback. To Be Like Jesus contains twelve worship songs that teach the fruit of the Spirit in a memorable way. Through these songs kids will learn that Jesus is our perfect example of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. More than that, they’ll discover that we can’t be like Jesus unless we trust in the power of his blood to forgive us and the power of his Sprit to change us. To Be Like Jesus is geared towards kids ages 6+, and will be released near the end of June. As we have been listening to the rough tracks, we’re excited about the results and believe this album is going to encourage many kids and their families!

As we finish up To Be Like Jesus, we’re in the mid-production stages of Sons and Daughters, which we plan to release at the WorshipGod09 conference, August 5-8. The theme of the project is the joy of being adopted as God’s children through the atoning work of Christ. The vocalists will be recording in the Sovereign Grace Studio next week.

Please keep both projects in your prayers!

News: Sovereign Grace Music and Book Sale

We’re doing it again. Having a ridiculous sale, that is.

Last year, during the month of February, we reduced the prices of our CDs and books. The response was overwhelming. So we decided to repeat the lunacy. Here’s the deal:

From February 1–28, at the Sovereign Grace store, you’ll find these prices:

    * Sovereign Grace books (23 of them, including Worship Matters, Worldliness, and Living the Cross Centered Life): $7 each

    * all CDs produced by Sovereign Grace Music (including Together for the Gospel Live, Psalms, Come Weary Saints, Awesome God, In a Little While, and Valley of Vision): $6 each

    * all books in our Pursuit of Godliness series (Why Small Groups, This Great Salvation, and others): $4 each

But wait…there’s more!

During February, we’re offering our normal free shipping in the continental US (library rate). But on all international orders we’re offering a discount of 50% on USPS First Class International shipping.

Why are we doing this? Well, we figure that most of us have been affected by the present economic crisis. We want to do whatever we can to make it easier for people to benefit from what we produce. We want to serve churches and individuals by providing biblically informed, gospel-centered resources at a low cost. And we’d really like to give it all away, but for now, that’s not financially feasible…

So we offer the February sale. Enjoy.

And feel free to tell your friends.

News: Would You Vote for This CD?

We wanted you to know that Worship Leader magazine has included our Psalms CD on their ballot for “Best Worship Compilation CD” of 2008. There are six CD’s in that category and they’re asking people to vote for their favorite. We’d like you to consider voting for Psalms, but on one condition. If you think that one of the five other CD’s is better than Psalms, you should vote for it. But if you think Psalms merits that award, your vote might mean more people will become aware of our music. The link for voting can be found at: http://www.worshipleader.com/praise-awards. And if you wanted to spread the word, we’d really appreciate it. Thanks for even considering this, and thanks for encouraging us as we seek to produce songs that serve the church and exalt the glory of our Savior.

Together for the Gospel (T4G) began as a friendship among four pastors: Mark Dever, Ligon Duncan, C.J. Mahaney, and Albert Mohler. In April 2008, more than 5,000 people, mostly pastors, gathered at the T4G conference to hear God’s Word and sing the praises of the Savior.

This CD contains those times of singing, accompanied by Bob Kauflin on an acoustic piano. As you listen, we pray you’ll be freshly drawn to worship the One who “suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God” (1 Pe 3:18 ESV).

The conference theme this year is Rediscovering the Psalms, and it will be held at Covenant Life Church in Gaithersburg, MD. We’re excited to be featuring two new releases at the conference. The first is the Psalms CD, made up of twelve new songs inspired by the biblical book of prayers and praises. We’ll also have the Worship Songbook Volume 3, which includes piano scores from our last six albums. We’re looking forward to seeing how God is going to encourage and equip everyone who attends the conference. To register for the conference click here.

Get a FREE download of “Praise the Lord” at the Sovereign Grace Store by clicking here.

For centuries the book of Psalms has informed, directed, and inspired the worship of God’s people. Without minimizing the struggles of living in a fallen world, this book exudes a confident trust in the God who is good and rules over all.

These twelve songs have emerged from those ancient poems and prayers. Our aim is to offer fresh interpretations of individual psalms, especially in light of the crucified and risen Savior to whom they point.
